Enhance your early years environment with the Wooden Resource Treasure Basket 1–2yrs, a thoughtfully curated collection of natural wooden resources designed to support heuristic play through open-ended, self-directed exploration. The collection includes a variety of smooth wooden bowls, rings, rollers, scoops, blocks, spools and tactile objects, all presented in a medium natural basket with lid.

These carefully selected resources invite children to explore freely and safely, encouraging curiosity, choice and sustained engagement. As children reach, grasp, turn, stack, roll and transfer objects between hands, they develop hand strength, hand–eye coordination and two-handed manipulation.

The natural weight, texture, and shape of the wooden objects support early sensory awareness, helping children notice differences and similarities through touch and movement. Children explore how objects feel, balance, and respond to action, developing an understanding of cause and effect through repeated, self-directed investigation.
